For dust with large particle size, normal temperature, dry, no viscosity and low concentration, 1.5-2m/min can be selected. When selecting the filtering speed, it shall be calculated that the net filtering wind speed should not exceed the above value when reducing the filtering area of a room (when cleaning ash).
2. The filter material shall be considered according to the temperature, moisture content, acid and alkali properties, viscosity, concentration and abrasion of dust. Generally, when the water content is small and there is no acid, it is selected according to the dust gas temperature. When the temperature is normal or ≤ 130 ° C, the polyester needle felt of 500-550g / m2 is commonly used. When the temperature is less than 250 ° C, Aramex needled felt or 800g / m2 fiberglass needled felt or 800g / m2 weft double fiberglass fabric or fluoromex [FMS] high temperature filter material (fiberglass material cannot be used for fluoride gas). When the moisture content is large and the dust concentration is large, waterproof, oil proof filter material (or anti condensation filter material) or membrane covered filter material (the base cloth should be needle felt after waterproof treatment) should be selected. Ryton polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) needled felt is often used when the dust containing gas contains acid and alkali and the gas temperature is ≤ 190 ° C. When the gas temperature is ≤ 240 ° C and the requirement of acid and alkali resistance is not too high, P84 (polyimide) needle felt is selected. When the dust containing gas is flammable and explosive, anti-static tapestry needle felt shall be selected. When the dust containing gas has certain moisture and flammable and explosive gas, water-proof and oil-proof anti-static (three proofs) tapestry needle felt shall be selected.
